Youth Centres of Calgary
Meet The Team
Jane Wachowich - Executive Director
Hi there! My name is Wynter, and I’m a volunteer at the Youth Centers of Calgary - Ogden.
I graduated from Bow Valley College with a diploma in Justice Studies specializing in Youth Justice. I like to spend my free time volunteering with the YCC and a few other organizations.
My passions are spending time with friends and family (Board games anyone!?), soccer, trying new things, and doing just about anything outside!
So, please stop on by and come hang out with us!
I am so proud to be a volunteer at the Ogden Youth Centre and really enjoy working with the kids.
I have lived in Calgary for 23 years, practiced Physiotherapy for 20 years (11 years in the States). My main focus has been raising my 3 children, 2 boys who are in Univ. and a daughter in high school. My passions currently are tennis, fitness, golfing, cooking, volunteering in various capacities and being part of the Ogden Youth Centre.

Hi I’m Janet! I am currently in the Health and Physical Education degree at Mount Royal University. I plan on going on to get my recreation therapy degree after I’m done my program at MRU. My passions include working with youth, volunteering and working out specifically powerlifting. I look forward to hanging out with you guys!
Hello! I am excited and pleased to be a volunteer at the Centre! I have a BA in Sociology and have worked with Youth in the past. I will be returning to university this fall after being accepted into UCalgary Faculty of Law. In my spare time you can find me rock climbing or reading a book. At the Centre I love studying and helping with school projects. If studying is not your thing, I am always up for playing a board game, colouring, or shoot some hoops. You can catch me at the Centre on Wednesdays, look forward to seeing you!
Hello! My name is Tatum, and I am a Registered Nurse. I work in the NICU, and love my job so much! I enjoy coming to the youth centre to be around the creative, energetic spirits of all the kids. I enjoy arts & crafts, being active, playing music, and cooking. I am so excited to be a part of the team, and to keep getting to know the community. These kids have already inspired me, and I can’t wait to keep making more connections!

See you soon,
I am so excited to be volunteering at the Youth Centre and to have the opportunity to work with the kids in Ogden. I have been living in Calgary for 17 years and have two children now in their twenties and a dog named Benji. I love all kinds of sports and fitness, especially jogging, tennis and biking. It was so much fun spending time at the Youth Centre this summer and I’m looking forward to having lots more fun through the school year.
See you soon!
Hi guys! My name is Nicole and I currently work at the Youth Centre! I have a degree from Mount Royal University in Health and Physical Education with a major in Physical Literacy. I plan to go on to do my Education degree within the next few years as well. A couple of my passions are working with youth, sports and living a healthy lifestyle. I currently play soccer on a women’s team, but I enjoy almost every sport. While I am at the Youth Centre my aim is to help every kid find their full potential whether that is through helping with homework, playing sports, engaging in arts and crafts or just being a friend!
Make sure to stop by and say Hi!
